Dear Raquel, I really enjoyed watching this story. Little Red Riding Hood is always appealing for children, and this video combines text and image for them to understand the tale in a meaningful way. In fact, students’ previous knowledge of the narrative can help them grasp those new words for them. The exercise provided is appropriate for children, too. I think that this video could be exploited in a wide range of ways. For instance, you could perform a (finger) puppet drama in which you use the dialogues of the video. Pupils could also be asked to make up a different ending for the story, thus fostering creative writing among them. Congratulations for your blog and activities! Kind regards, Alejandra
Thanks for your comment Alejandra, I will have into account the idea of perform a (finger) puppet drama. And I like also, the idea of that children have to change the ending of the story, I am sure that this will be very motivating for them.
